Uncle Jim a man among men. You were truly someone that always made me laugh. So the next time I have a beer and a shot of the ol tullamore dew (I know yours was Christan Bros) I leave one for you to sit next to me and tell a joke, but how you do with a whisper so just us two can hear. Thanks Uncle Jim we will always remeber you. Ryan, Jen, and Grant Tuno Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Everything remains as it was. The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no sorrow in your tone. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.

Uncle Jim, it truly is amazing how fast time goes by. It's seems like yesterday (51 years ago) you married my aunt, and became my uncle. But, truth be told you were more than an uncle. Ruth and I as well as our children Erica and Gary have nothing but great memories of our time together in this life. We can testify on your behalf that while you were here on earth, you "left it better than you found it", thanks we're all better for knowing you! One of my fondest memories was when you and Dad took me to the circus when I was a little tyker down in Wildwood, NJ. I don't have to go into detail of our time because everyone knows...remember I couldn't keep our secret? Thanks for touching me and my families lives! Gary, Ruth, Erica, and Gary Barlow

Uncle Jim, You are the best uncle a kid could have. You and Aunt Angie were always there for us and you both spoiled us rotten. Not really, we kids turned out to be good and that was a lot due to you and Aunt Angie giving us unconditional love. I will miss you so much and always love you.
